As of January 2026, Thai soldiers have committed barbaric acts, including the destruction and looting of Cambodian civilian homes. Families have been displaced from the land their ancestors tended. Children have watched their parents weep over the ruins of everything they built with their own hands.
Our people have endured too much. Mothers clutch photographs of sons who will never return home. Elders who survived decades of hardship now face new trauma in their final years. Villages that once knew peace now know only fear and grief.
We are not aggressors. We are defenders of our home, our dignity, our right to exist without terror. We have suffered long enough.
We come in peace, but we will not be silenced. The world must hear our suffering. The world must see our tears. The world must know that Cambodian lives matter.
